Odisha-based MGM Minerals Limited is one such firm that plans to set up a garment factory. The initiative is expected to give employment to around more than 1,000 women.
The company is planning for vertical operations as it has set some big goals for the weaving sector. It will also set up a unit at Bhadrak Weaving Park.
Pankaj Lochan Mohanty, Chairman, MGM Minerals Limited, who is also President of Odisha Cricket Association, shared this in an interview with Sambad English. More details of the projects have not been disclosed as yet.
Notably, MGM Minerals Limited has 1.5 million tonnes of iron ore mines annually.
The company’s aim to set up a 10 MW solar power project brings out its commitment to sustainability. It also has plans to set up an ethanol factory in Boudh district.
Pankaj, who is being called a Samaritan in times of crisis, feels that it is his job to help people in times of need and crisis.
