Vardhman Textiles Limited, the leading textile conglomerate, has reported highest ever profits in its history. Notably, it recorded net profit of Rs. 1,677.44 crore for FY’22 as against Rs. 366.74 crore in FY’21, at an increase of 357.39 per cent, on a standalone basis.
The company informed that its top line remained Rs. 9,386.10 crore in FY’22, which is higher by 58.38 per cent over the previous FY.
The Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortization (EBIDTA) margin for FY’22 stands at 27.09 per cent as against 15.62per cent during the previous FY.
The net profit of the company for Q4, FY’22 is Rs. 322.68 crore on a standalone basis, which is lower by 44.75per cent over Q3,FY’22, but is higher by 43.98per cent over Q4, FY’21.
The top line of the company remained Rs. 2,641.97 crore for Q4, FY’22, which is higher by 4.80per cent over Q3, FY’22 and 41.65per cent over Q4, FY’21.
Ludhiana-based Vardhman Textile Limited has multiple manufacturing units across three states.
Pursuant to the order of the National Company Law Tribunal, two wholly-owned subsidiaries of the company,namely, VMT Spinning Company Limited and Vardhman Nisshinbo Garments Company Limited stood merged with the company w.e.f. the appointed date,that is 1 April 2020.
