The committee will give its detailed report in one month covering all the aspects of development of textile and apparel industry in the state.
This state-level committee is headed by Chief Secretary of the state, with good representation from industry’s trade associations and senior bureaucrats of the state.
Focusing on employment generation, developing infrastructure and modernisation of the textile and apparel industry, this policy will cover the entire supply chain.
