Garment Exporters Association of Rajasthan (GEAR) has joined hands with Air India, the national carrier of India, with the intent to support apparel manufacturers.
Ashwani Lohani, CMD, Air India handed over the agreement papers to Aseem Kumar, General Secretary, GEAR.
As per the agreement, Air India will offer special discounts and other privileges to GEAR members, and in return the national carrier will get bulk travel business from members who travel across the globe for business purpose.
GEAR, with around 300 members, is a leading garment exporter body of Rajasthan.
Rajiv Dewan, President, GEAR said that the deal will not only benefit the GEAR members but will also help Air India get good travel business from GEAR members.
He further corroborates“It’s a win-win situation for both. We are proud to be associated with the national carrier. Our members will contribute the exchequer in this way.”
Notably, GEAR members are very excited about the efforts put by the association.
