Offering a variety of products is one of the successful strategies for many Indian apparel exporters,and many of them are increasing their product basket so as to grab more orders.
One such company is Delhi-based Dipin Creations India.
The 25-year-old company also increased its focus on sustainable aspects and are offering garments with recycled stuff.
Monica Oberoi, Owner, Dipin Creations India, told Apparel Resources, “Right now, we are not doing bags and I feel that there is a lot of requirement for the bags especially the kind of garments we are offering. Some customers have also asked for the bags from us. So hopefully in next few months, we will display our collection of bags.”
Bag manufacturing is comparatively easy for garment manufacturers as they don’t need much extra machines or infrastructure. Even manpower, right from designers to workers,is also almost similar.
100 per centexport-oriented unit (EOU), Dipin Creations India uses saris and recycled patchwork in its collections.
“We started focusing in this direction.Apart from using recycled materials, we offer products that are reversible and have different colours on both sides. We do have many styles which can be worn in two ways like a skirt can be used in a dress also. So, with such and more efforts, we are contributing to creating a good environment.”
The company offers winter as well as summerwear. With a focus on PD, the company tries to come out with as many collections as possible so that it can have more buyers and more business.
