Recognising the noble cause of apparel exporters of Delhi-NCR, Okhla Garment and Textile Cluster (OGTC) honoured its member companies in various categories. The awards were given at the recent International Conference on Apparel & Home Textiles (ICAHT) organised by OGTC in Delhi.
P.M.S. Uppal, President, OGTC and Madan Kukreja, Treasurer, OGTC gave away the awards to the winners.
R.C. Kesar, DG, OGTC said that the objective behind giving away this award was to appreciate the work of various apparel exporters and at the same time motivate other companies to take such initiatives.

In another event, during the 13th CEO Conference held at Coimbatore recently, top 10 performing group of mills were given SIMA Technofacts Award for the year 2018-19. The awards were given by C.K. Ranganathan, Chief Guest of the conference and Founder Chairman, Cavinkare Pvt. Ltd.
The companies awarded were GHCL Limited, Sri Jayajothi & Co. Ltd., Precot Meridian Ltd., Premier Cotton Textiles Ltd., Sambandam Spinning Mills Ltd., Jagannath Textile Company Ltd., Loyal Textiles Limited, Premier Spinning & Weaving Mills Ltd., Jay Textiles and Shri TP Textiles.
Senior team of SIMA, P. Nataraj, Ashwin Chandran and S.Dinakaran were also present on the occasion.
