Trident Limited, one of the largest players of home textile in India, announced its financial results for the quarter and year ended 31 March 2022.
For FY’22, the net revenue of the company increased by 53 per cent to Rs. 69,415 million as compared to Rs. 45,353 million in FY’21. The profit after tax (PAT) for FY’22 increased by 136 per cent to Rs. 8,150 million with PAT margin of 11.7 per cent.
The textile segment revenue for the company stood at Rs. 59,395 million in FY’22 compared to Rs. 38,161 million in FY’21.
Trident Limited recently announced capex worth 13,770 million, with projects in various phases of implementation.
Commenting on the results, Rajinder Gupta, Chairman at Trident Group, said “Despite the high commodities prices, inflationary issues and supply chain constraints, we delivered resilient performance for our stakeholders during the year. We remain optimistic about the future growth of the industry and hope to maintain likewise momentum going forward.”
