To overcome the COVID-19 pandemic, Indian textile and apparel industry is continuously supporting the society and Government at different levels.

Besides having facilities like oxygen concentrators and free medicines, doctor and nurses are also available at this centre 24X7. Notably, the UPSIDA has provided the building for this centre.

Various textile and apparel companies such as Daks India, Raj Lakshmi, SD Enterprises, Mint Fashion, Alaska Export, Envogue Clothing, IGP Impex, SB Enterprises and Perfection Handicraft have come together under the EPIP Welfare association.

KC Biswas of Biswas Consultancy also offered his services for this noble cause.

Shobha Singh, Director, Perfection Handicraft told, “The companies have joined hands enthusiastically and invested around Rs. 15 lakh in this initiative. We are thankful to UPSIDA for their support.”

Mayur Maheshwari, CEO, Anil Sharma, RM and Gesu Maurya, ARM of UPSIDA also supported the initiative.

At the individual level also, various companies have been taking big steps in this regard.
